Refund policy

At Studio Luma, we want you to shop with confidence. Our return and refund policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

 

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

 

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Our 30-Day Change-of-Mind Policy

 

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy from the date you receive your order. To be eligible:

 

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging
  • - All accessories, manuals, and components must be included
  • - You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Please note: Change-of-mind returns for ceiling fans that have been installed or powered on cannot be accepted for hygiene and safety reasons.

 

Faulty or Damaged Products

 

If your product arrives damaged, is faulty, or does not match the description, we will cover return shipping and offer you the choice of a full refund, replacement, or repair — in line with your rights under the ACL.

 

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours at studioluma.store@gmail.com if there is an issue. Include your order number and photos of the fault or damage.

 

How to Start a Return

 

Email us at studioluma.store@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions. Please do not send items back without first contacting us, as we may not be able to process the return.

 

Refunds

 

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
